CHARLESTON, SC -WCBD –

New accusers have come forward claiming they were sexually abused by a former Citadel Summer Camp counselor, one claiming he was raped.

In an interview with News 2′s Brendan Clark Wednesday, that will air on The Savage Report on Comcast C-2, Attorney J. Edward Bell, III, who represents a new victim, says then Marine Captain Michael Arpaio raped him. Bell says the victim is among several who have come forward over the last couple and weeks and he expects file a lawsuit against the school by the end of this week or early next week.

“This child was actually raped, physically raped, I think at least three times. I don’t know the exact number, that is still coming out in our work, and our interview process”, said Bell.

A military court convicted Michael Arpaio, and sentenced him to 15 months in prison on charges of molesting boys at the camp. The victims sued the school and took a nearly $4M settlement.

“It’s unfortunate the settlement was so low,” said Bell. “Some of these kids have been damaged for life”.

Arpaio worked at the Citadel Summer Camp from 1997-2001, and Bell says that is when then abuse took place.

When asked for a comment about the suit, a Citadel spokesperson said, “It would not be appropriate for us to comment on something we have not seen”.

The Citadel is facing fire on several fronts this week after the school’s president admitted it should have done more to respond to allegations of sexual abuse against Skip ReVille. ReVille also worked as a camp counselor and he is accused of watching pornography and engaging in sex acts with campers.
